A dare to dream

In
Oceans
Calm ripples
Thoughts separate
Floating to and fro
As waves crash fearlessly
Her thinking's unorganised
As she grabs with both hands, to life
Drowning in panic-stricken waters
Eyes sealed closed as her body floats solo
Silver linings appearing untouched
A dare to dream of letters sent
With words, notes and emotions
Setting sail a thousand
Whispers and tears cried
Today’s sunrise
Positive
Words set
Sail

This week over on Twitter, our weekly poetry battle prompt chosen by myself was #Buoyant — I wrote this double etheree but realised it was too long for a character limit tweet so here is the new poem!!
