A field full of dew

Teetering on the edge of insanity

She falters aimlessly

In a field full of dew

While shadows appear, sacred

Reaching for her freedom

Yet snatched away in an instant

Her longingness to run

Through a field full of dew

She hesitates, biding her time

While her heart beats

In her chest as panic sets in

She fixes her stature

Turning on her heels

She looks fear square on

And echoing the words

I’m no longer fearful

Her freedom is found

In a field of dew
