Soul awakened
Drums beat intently
Toing and froing
Yet — a ruse, a beat
A rhythm of uncertainty
A visionary with some hope
Yet hope lost
Am I that hope of lost
Or an image of my own imagination
Through awakenings
Of my soul
As I search for me
A resurrection of sorts
From
Drums beating intently
As they to and fro
Awakening my soul
