Beauty turned sour

She catches a glint

Of your shallowness

Toying with reality

She poised herself elegantly

Yet weeping, she fears

Her beauty turned sour

As he informs her

She’ll remain alone

With only her thoughts

To keep her company

Fading, she breaths

Heaviness and laboured

While her fight or flight

Resurfaces to protect her

Allowing her to breath

Ready to fight demons

Keeping her prisoner

Her beauty shines through

Leaving a sour taste in your mouth
