Kaleidoscopes spinning
Like the mind of a
Knife-wielding child or
A madman holding a blade
In a moment of madness
Of pure and insane anger
The moment you stabbed me
And life left my body
A future ends in this moment
My future gone
Yours too
Stop and think
Stop the adrelinin pumping
Hard against your chest
Turning back time
Change the moment
Before the moment
You changed our lives

My daughter asked me to write a poem for her school, about knife crime — here is a poem about knife crime, but I will not give this one to her for school due to the triggers here!!
