Don’t ask her why

Souls — empty
Destroyed with
Words and actions
And your betrayal
Being — invisible
You did this to her
Feeling unnoticed
Like disappearing, a desire to die
Hearts — a shattering
Like shards of glass
Unrepairable, gone, broken
Like the trust she had in you
Don’t ask her why
Don’t ask for a forgiving heart
Remember who broke it
Those words and actions
Or the feeling of invisibility
You caused a feeling of brokenness
Left confused — lost
She will wander through life
Her whole being transparent
Don’t ask her why
