End game

I see you through earth-shattering pain
Your vulnerability hindering
Yet a strong survival — a duty
To live — to fight back
Take back control
And carry no shame
I see you through broken glass
Your pain hidden
Though not so well
I see you
A reflection of sadness
Sadness they bestowed upon you
Pain owned by you
As you try to heal
As you forget — yet
Your vulnerability
Seen as weakness
Hinders your recovery
But —
Recover is what you’ll do
And —
Survival is your end game
