forget the broken sparrow
In the wind, her feathers ruffle
Her wafer-thin skin, like silk
Is torn with blood splatters
Like her thoughts
A mess
She wanders aimlessly
Like a broken sparrow
Fragile, yet elegant
With her scars on show
And her thoughts
No longer a mess
