Four seasons

There is something to be said

About the beauty in frost

Resting perfectly upon each slab

To guide us through the

Changes in the seasons

Fresh snow refusing to fall

Like the sun, refusing to shine

The leaves crisp to touch

Leaving a sense of change among us

Beauty in watching as

The four seasons shift

I sat here this afternoon with an idea to write something lighthearted, yet something to think about!

I wrote about the beauty in change, whether it is the four seasons or the changes me make for ourselves.

This year in 2022 — I would like to change very little about myself, but maybe to be less shy and be more able to talk without fear of rejection and certainly without the guilt and self-blame I have carried with me.

I would also like to learn, to become a better writer — however, I will always remain authentic to myself and others!

There is beauty within any change as long as we allow ourselves to see beyond the flaws!!
