Just visiting
None of us are here for an eternity
We are just visiting
With a purpose — Of fulfilling
Duties set out for us, like chores
We are sent to love and learn and teach
Showing kindness, teaching mindfulness
Saving souls from drowning in sorrow
We took no crash course
Not owning the book of life
with no instructions to follow
Life is no game — live it
Lived only once in a lifetime
None of us are here for an eternity
But here for a purpose — human kindness
To be a voice to the voiceless
Capturing the hearts of all who struggle
Not taking life for granted
While looking forward
Making way for something new
Life can be as beautiful as we make it
Where strangers are friends we've never met
A universe can come together in unity
Our purpose is to give out hope
And dreams to those we meet along the way
Counting each blessing and remembering
None of us are here for an eternity
We are just visiting
