To love oneself
The now’s
The past and
The future
Honour the love
You couldn’t hold
What is love?
You ask…
How do we learn?
From whom?
Unanswered
Unborn knowledge
All that is known
We are all worthy
Of a love
Forgiving hearts
Unfavoured and an
Unwavering sense
Of belonging and in
Lessons of self-love
There you sit
In a fierce acceptance
Of a love, gifted to you

This poem represents the love that I struggled to accept from others, throughout my life.
I can love easily, at times too easily and too giving. Love is such a strong emotion, a small word with a heavy meaning, use it carefully!!
