Making waves

Fear disguised by a splash of

Heavy, yet dark waves

Conjuring a plan of hope

Of survival she swims

Losing a strength

Gaining a weakness

Surrounded by thoughts

Words interrupt the mind

Blown away in despair

Letters dissembled from

Words she had formed

Fear scoured across her face

Immersing farther under

Heavy, yet dark waves

Suddenly

Emerging above

Each letter reforming

Giving hope and

Making waves
