Moonlights and Reflections

In her reverence

She searches through

Moonlights and reflections

For a saviour to save her

For a love undeserved

And untamed

Unrequited and storge

Yet in her reverence

Her search hopeless

A saviour didn’t save her

Her fight for a place

To fit in, undesguised

Loveless with nobody

To show her the way

She searches through

Moonlights and reflections

For a saviour to save her

REVERENCE

Our Twitter, weekly MoveMePoetryBattle

Where writers and poets from around the world, come together in one place to read/write poems!!

This wasn’t an easy write and for me, the word reverence was about searching for love — safe love, innocent love and somebody safe, to save me!
