Serpent

I aspire yet

Not for your beauty

It does not exist

Though a touch

Behind a mirrored reflection

Aspirations failed me

For your serpent tendencies

To suck life from my soul

I aspire yet

But the opposite of you

To be me and more

Without the bits of me

You unkindly destroyed

I am not a mirrored

Image of what stands

In front of me

You are not that of me

You aspire to be a wrongun

While I aspire to be me
