Trigger warning —mentions of death and suicide

Sometimes life
Throws us in directions
We are not ready for
Our lives nurture
In ways, we can’t understand
Sometimes life is perfect
While others chaotic
The wind blows while the sun shines
Lightening strikes and bolts of thunder hit
Sometimes our light goes out
Yet they re-ignite within our hearts
Curiously broken
A soul left in pieces
Like ashes, afloat
Sometimes life is too hard
Death seems easy
A way to escape
Day becomes night
A week, month, and a year
Times lost in conflict
Decades pass
Memories fade in time
Yet —
Sometimes life has to be fulfilled — Just
Sometimes
