Aching hearts
Tempered like
Fragile glass and
Coiled like old
Rusty nails
Hearts of stone
Unpure — rotten
Sculptured
On show and
Insanely ugly — yet
Immensely void
In worlds apart
A poise and distressed
Raw — yet
Beaten half ruptured
Heart filled hole
Of fragility
