Sitting hypervigilantly
Opposite you
Afraid to speak, to trust you
To realise a motive in you
And yet
My feelings
Were right

I write this poem as I remember being let down by the last therapist that I had, before my present one! To be afraid to tell your story, to open up…Is not our fault and in my case, being asked to leave because I struggled to open up and I could not connect to this therapist.
This completely broke my trust in and other mental health professional, until I found my current therapist — Here with her, I am fully open and able to connect with her!
The message here is, NEVER GIVE UP!!!
