There are those sometimes
The sun rises and sets
Over misty meadows of somewhere
And the shimmering of waters calm
And sometimes the heart will dance
To happy tunes or cry in sorrow
When we cannot look beyond our flaws
Today’s sometimes the heart tries
Protesting it’s love to all who give
All of my sometimes
I try, my heart will give
To all who needs it
Today’s sometimes my heart receives
Not pain but a love to be treasured
Today’s sometimes the heart, my heart
Will keep beating to the beat
Of precious life and beauty
