What will happen

What will happen when darkness dies
When in each crack, the sun creeps in
All that seems ugly actually becomes beautiful
What happens when earth shattering screams stop
As we listen a little harder, waiting for a sign
A sign that your world did not really end this way
As darkness is to die, and the sun shows itself
Revealing all it’s beauty, that life is beautiful
We become alive
Becoming warriors
Survivors, still surviving

What will happen when darkness falls
When in each crack, the sun slowly dies
All that seems beautiful actually becomes ugly
What happens when all we hear is earth shattering screams
As we cover our ears to muffle each single scream
There's a sign that your world is about to end
As darkness is to fall and no sun to see
Revealing the ugly in feared darkness
We become a shell of emptiness
Becoming fearful and
Survivors still drowning

What will happen when the world comes together
When in each moment there is nothing but light
Without any darkness to drown in or be fearful of
All that seems beautiful really is beautiful
What happens when laughter is amongst our souls
We find a sign that in fact life really is beautiful
A sign that your world isn't ready to end
As we unite in each corner of the world
Shining nothing but light to one another
We become at peace
Yet, still surviving
