Poem about death and suicide

Who will read my eulogy when I die
Says the mind of a child
Thrown away like garbage
Who will be at my wake
Or weep at my graveside
Who will miss me when I’m gone
Say the words of nobody
A promise to myself when I died
Words written on scraps of paper
And left by my coffin for the crows to hide

Who will read my eulogy when I die
A stranger who only knows my name
Who may only see my empty shell
A stranger who shares my name
Inscribed upon a memory shared
Don’t come and weep fake tears
Only speak my name with fondness
An empty church with empty pews
Who will read my eulogy in an empty room
I am the ghost of she —
who wrote her own eulogy

I decided that I would write this particular piece because I am she, who tried several attempts to end my life. Who would read my eulogy? No family who would attend a funeral of the Blacksheep, who was thrown away like garbage.
This is exactly how I felt at that time in my life!!

Today and every day, I choose life!!!
