You see me
Through powerful eyes
Through my weakness
You see me
Look at me fly
Through a strength
You never thought I had
Rolling with the punches
Your punches
And brutal truths
Sorrow built
As the walls rise
Can you see me
A woman who climbs mountains
Who escaped you
Look at me now
As I changed my world
My independence day came
When you failed to see me
I ran
I learned to live
I transformed
